- Continue to deliver flowers using our e-van, therefore reducing our daily travel emissions.
- Endeavour to work with British Seasonal Flower Farmers, National British Suppliers and even Home Grown at 100% (thats our target!) Growers who dont use pesticides will always be our preference.
- Collecting Flowers direct from the Farm reducing cardboard & plastic deliveries. Our Flowers are predominantly delivered in reusable buckets filled with water.
- Look at ethically sourced flowers for our slower seasonal months where Weddings & Funerals may still take place.
- Look at bulk ordering flowers in high season which dry beautifully, therefore, encouraging clients to opt for dry flowers for out of season events.
- Educating our clients by talking about Sustainable Floristry at all times. This often can be encouraging clients in to using Seasonal Flowers as opposed to Imported.
- Encourage Children to take part in nature & educational workshops throughout the year.
- Seek out learning & continous training of our florists. Knowledge is power.
- Having a strong Brand Identity, and Brand Ethos to ensure our client know we are Sustsinably Accredited.

MISSION STATEMENT

FLORISTRY VS SUSTAINABILITY

"I am committed to reviewing this pledge every single year to ensure I am relevant within the sustainable world"

We are dedicated to bring sustainability to the main stream. Our practises are impactful, and we hope, with time, that these become the norm.
- We are a zero Oasis Business.
- We work using sustainably built mechanics eg: wire & moss.
- We work with Couples who collect & recycle vasewears for their big life events.
- We are working on becoming 100% British sourced flowers. By tallying up our stem count over 2025, we will be able to accurately share our percentages in January 2026. Our belief is that we are currently, comfortably sitting at 90% British Only Florals.

Waste Management Pledge

2025 has seen 'The Flower Collective' make some waste management changes, all for the better!
- Cardboard & Plastics are taken to the recycle centres.
- Green Waste is taken home for composting.
- Water Waste: Used to water containers and hanging baskets at the workshop & homegrown crops where possible.
